Demonstration and evaluation Plant

WST has invested in building a full range of portable demonstration equipment to be able to run “Real Life” Demonstrations / Evaluation on your site from the actual effluent stream.

Our flocculant makeup unit can produce up to 50L/ Hour of cured flocculant with a 1m2 footprint.

Our demo Filtration unit consists of a Glass medium filter followed by an activated carbon filter and is capable of up to 1000L/ Hour.

Our Demo Dewatering Screw Press is capable of producing up to 10kg of dry sludge per hour

Monitoring system

Our basic monitoring system can monitor up to 3 parameters such as pH, Conductivity, and flow. This is uploaded via cellular network to a cloud storage facility from where real time monitoring can be done via cell phone or desktop pc.

Reports can be generated 24/7.

We also provide a monthly report as part of our operation and maintenance contracts.

Operation and Maintenance

WST provide the option to operate the effluent treatment plant on your behalf based on a service level agreement.

WST can supply personnel or outsource the existing personnel to operate the plant during agreed operating hours to ensure effective treatment of effluent. WST will provide the necessary training, backup, and management of these personnel as well as monthly reporting and management of chemicals consumption, ordering and delivery.

We will provide the operators with PPE, tools and support as required. We have a dedicated technical team to ensure equipment is maintained or repaired timeously.

To ensure the sustainability and smooth operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant, WST will identify a list of items to be maintained on a regular basis. A monthly maintenance cycle can be offered as part of an Operation and Maintenance contract.
